This is so gorgeous. I found myself staring into it for the longest time…the movement is so palpable, touchable and real. Excellent rendering of energy and poetry. I like how the center figure looks as if she is falling, yet is being held up by the motion of the dance and the dancers. Then to look again, it seems that all of the figures could be HER. There are HUGE messages in this painting for me.

Kalliope, wow thanks I really appreciate your time and energy. This is my take on a very famous Matisse paniting name “The Dance”. His girls were in a almost perfect circle, I moved my girls around so they form a heart shape, and I made them all the same…for just the reason you stated, they are seperate and the same all at once. Just like we are as beings, whole, all-one and individual and alone. I’m really glad you like it! *Beaming*
